Welcome to the Healing Winds Emporium! This is the new home for my Reiki business Healing Winds Reiki, and showcases my new direction! I've always had a love for eclectic things and I've morphed that into this online store. Here I hope you can find things that make you happy, as that is truly the most healing thing we can do for ourselves.

I've always felt torn between two worlds--a love of history and a love of the metaphysical and fortune telling.  I have a master’s degree in History, and three other degrees in German, Museum Studies, and Humanities & Fine Arts.  I wrote a book entitled "Lost Forts of Casper" published by The History Press, on the history of Civil War-era forts in Casper, Wyoming. I’ve worked in museums for over 15 years and volunteer on the board of a local museum here in Casper. My most recent book, "The Forgotten Senator: The Life and Character of Preston B. Plumb" was published in March of 2023.

I became involved in Reiki due to constant health issues.  I’d been seeing doctor after doctor and put on a variety of medications and they weren’t providing much relief.  At that point I decided to learn Reiki on the off chance that it might help me.  I had no idea how much it would help me both physically and emotionally.  I’ve never looked back. Today, I use it to manage the stresses of daily life and to help control my rare autoimmune condition, Relapsing Polychondritis.

Today, I offer my Reiki services for others to discover how Reiki energy can help them.  I am a certified Karuna Ki Reiki Master, Usui Reiki Master, Crystal Reiki Master, certified in Kundalini Reiki I by Psychic Medium Sarah Lemos of the Travel Channel's "Ghosts of Morgan City" and "Portals to Hell," and accredited by the International Reiki Organization.  I founded Healing Winds Reiki in Casper, Wyoming in early 2017. I also completed Sarah Lemos' "Pathways to Spirit" year-long class at the end of 2020. This class covered all things metaphysics and was incredibly valuable to this business and me personally. I am currently offering distance Reiki sessions and monthly Reiki clearings on this site.

My dear friend, Bobbie, is offering a variety of Tarot readings and she is excellent at them. She has helped me and given me great guidance in the past (and still does!) and I am so fortunate to be able to give her a place to shine. Everything on this site is something I found interesting, funny, or I just plain enjoy--and I'm excited to be able to share these things with you.
