How has fall been treating you so far? Are you a pumpkin-everything person, a jump in the leaf pile person, or a stay inside and devour books person? Perhaps you’re all three! And let’s not forget spooky people who celebrate Halloween starting in September! I’m not a pumpkin person, but I’m a bit of all the others.
We’ve just had Mabon, which is the autumnal equinox, and if you feel so called you might take a walk in nature, taking time to feel everything around you with all your senses, or cook a meal with friends and family to celebrate gratitude. You can learn more about Mabon here.
Now that the season has officially changed, I’ve got a fall tarot spread for you! Baseball is mainly considered a summer sport, but as any fan can tell you, October is when it gets super exciting as the season wraps up and we look forward to the Postseason and The World Series. The Card Representing You: The World - The Steady Veteran
Meaning: This is one of the happiest cards in tarot, because it represents holding the world in your hands. This player is being rewarded as his worth and talent are being recognized. He’s the guy you can count on, whether he’s batting or playing the field. He’s the player who never gets traded, the one who triumphs no matter what. Your Fall is going to be as rewarding to you as baseball has been to him. Rock on!
Card for October: Eight of Bats
Meaning: You can see that one bat is missing from this rack, as the current batter is using it. You can be sure the batter is going to hit a home run or even a grand slam, as this card represents a journey that will end in success. You’ve worked hard on this journey and you never gave up on either yourself or the Universe. Get ready to round the bases, because this October you are going to the Playoffs!
Card for November: The Money Player
Meaning: The Money Player has no friends and needs none. He is all about making money and being as perfect a player as he can be. Alone doesn’t always mean lonely; there is a lot to be said for keeping your own counsel and living life on your own terms. If your life has been overly hectic and full of unnecessary noise, November will be a good time to step back for a while, in whatever way you can. Sometimes being able to hear your own voice is all you need to get yourself moving in the best direction.
